Living at Hoani Tapu

Your whare is tapu (sacred) – it belongs to our church and is part of its story. It is more than just a place to live; it is a space for growth, connection, and community. As you make it your home, you become part of our whakapapa, contributing to the shared purpose of those who have come before and those who will follow.

We are guided by our values that compel us to acknowledge, uphold, maintain, and restore te tapu o te Atua, o te tangata, o te whenua (the sacredness of God, people, and the creation). We recognize that spiritual, physical, mental, emotional, and social wellbeing are deeply interconnected and essential for a thriving community.

We believe in the vital role of peer support, whānau, and community in fostering student wellbeing and draw strength from these relationships.

Your wellbeing is our priority, and we’re here to support you at every step of your journey.
